The inaugural conference on Midwest Ion Traps in Nuclear Science in 2023 (MITIN-23) aims to bring together the four Midwestern nuclear ion trapping groups to share ideas, build connections and initiate collaborations. With a strong focus on sharing best technical practices and current experimental quandaries, MITIN promises to be an excellent breeding ground for new undergraduates, graduate students and post-doctoral students to learn about and build connections in the local nuclear ion trapping field. Our multi-day event aims to be a staple in building and maintaining the strong local community of trappers. The conference will be from June 19-21, 2023 at Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center.
