Congratulations to Beka Kelmar for successfully defending her Doctoral Dissertation on November 2nd, 2022. Her thesis titled "USING HECTOR TO STUDY CAPTURE REACTIONS RELEVANT TO THE ASTROPHYSICAL γ-PROCESS" advised by Professor Anna Simon-Robertson, focused on measurements of proton- and alpha-capture reactions in A=100 mass region to better constrain the models for the γ -process nucleosynthesis.
