2027 R-matrix workshop on methods and applications
Phenomenological R-matrix is used heavily by both the nuclear applications and nuclear astrophysics communities to evaluate nuclear data. R-matrix school 2027 brings together the developers of the AZURE2 and SAMMY R-matrix codes to train the next generation of researchers. Participants will learn R-matrix theory and methodology through a series of lectures and hands-on activities. Early career scientists including graduate students and postdocs are especially encouraged to apply, but the school is open to any researcher interested in this topic.
The school will take place on the scenic campus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula, from May 17–21, 2027.
