In experiments performed with Gammasphere (at Argonne) and the INGA facility (at TIFR, India), we have identified wobbling bands in the nucleus 135Pr, thus establishing a new region of nuclei to exhibit wobbling behavior. Additionally, the observed behavior corresponds to "transverse wobbling" whereby the odd-particle aligns with the short axis of the triaxial nucleus, rather than with the axis of maximum moment of inertia.
